Rip, Snip, and Write! 2 with Lynn Zimmerman & Jodi Paloni
Let's continue our exploration of the interplay of word and image. Again using the Gateless Writing Method led by Jodi paired with Spontaneous Collage-Making with Lynn. As before, we will respond to image and word prompts to get the writing going and see how the stories and poems might inspire the making of our collage pieces.
Following up on previous themes of place, home and hearth, interiors and exteriors, in this round of classes, we’ll explore ideas of other–––neighbors, communities, here and abroad, past and present, human and “not-only” human. Guidance and techniques will be provided, and as always, participants are free to explore and share what bubbles up naturally.
Please bring pen and paper for writing, a pair of scissors, collage supplies, and an open mind and heart. We'll provide a package of collage materials for pick-up (included in the fee). Additional fee of $10 to have materials shipped.
